This beautiful house is designed specifically for purple martin colonies. Having one of these houses in your yard will help eliminate the number of insects as Purple martins are insect-eating birds. You may also find House Sparrows, Starlings, Bluebirds or Tree Swallows seeking residence is this multilayered home. Keep in mind that House Sparrows and Starlings are a competitor to Purple Martins. 

The roof and floors lift off for easy cleaning. The white color helps keep the inside of the house cooler, making it a more desirable nesting site. It's ideal to the house away from tall trees as Purple Martins prefer open space.

Purple Martins are birds that spend the winter in Central America and return to Eastern North America in March. They’ll nest in birdhouses made specifically for their needs, like our Purple Martin Manse House!

Features

High Quality Materials: PVC is insect resistant, water resistant, and won't break-down or degrade over time. Maintenance is virtually nonexistent!

Easy Installation: The Purple Martin has a standard bottom collar that fits a 4x4 post. Installation is incredibly easy. 

Classic Design: Each apartment is a minimum 6"x6"x6" as per Purple Martin specs. First floor openings are 1" above the surrounding porch. Second and third floors have a "Juliet" balcony 1" below them. Predator guards surround the 2" openings.

Overall Dimensions: 18"L x 18"W x 24"H

Installation is incredibly easy! Most of our birdhouses and feeders have a mounting collar that fit a 4x4 post. These posts can be found for cheap at your local hardware store and installed in less than an hour. If you have any questions feel free to reach out!
